THE PROBLEM

US public schools are under attack. Billionaires, corporations and lobbyists all want a piece of public education funding meant for classrooms. Using high stakes tests, Common Core and charter schools, the idea is to do to education what they did in the past to healthcare and military spending – privatize it and extract profits for investors.
